ABOUT OUR COMPANY Action Awards was founded in 1973 as Action Athletics, a retail sporting goods store in Snellville, Georgia. Snellville is now considered a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia. But back in the seventies, Snellville was considered a small town all to itself. To this day, we strive to keep our hometown friendliness in our day to day practices. Whether you are a small club or an industry giant, we treat all our customers as friends and neighbors. Because of our dedication to our customers, our quality products, and unequaled service, we were named to the INC 500 as one of America*s 500 fastest growing privately owned companies. We are very proud of this and would like to thank our loyal customers for allowing us to serve them and their continued faith in our organization. The retail sporting goods portion of business was sold in 1981, while we retained the trophy & plaque division. We changed our name to Action Awards. In 1983 we purchased our current location and expanded our service to include screenprinting. We further expanded with embroidery services in 1985, and shortly thereafter into ad specialties. During this time, we also began to offer corporate programs to corporations on the regional, national, and international level. Since 1973 we have increased our facility's capacity to over 35,000 sq.ft. as our customer base grew and our hard work and treating people right paid off. In this one building you can find our corporate offices, manufacturing, warehouse, and design departments. Our huge warehouse is capable of containing the inventory needed for not only our production requirements, but also products for our corporate identity programs. WHAT WE DO It is simply very hard to put into words what we do at Action Awards. Here is a short description of some of the products and services we offer: AWARDS DIVISION Our awards product line includes trophies, plaques, badges, ribbons, desk plates, custom cast medallions and paperweights. All of our trophies and plaques are manufactured at our corporate headquarters. We will custom build trophies from 2 inches high to eight feet tall. Plaques are available as big as the size of a front door! Our computerized graphics, traditional engraving, and laser engraving equipment make it easy to give you the custom look, quality product, and fast service you deserve and need. It is not unusual for us to turn emergency orders around in hours for our customers. All of this at some of the lowest prices in the country. For our customers throughout North America, we offer express delivery via Federal Express. Call us for a quote, you'll be surprised! Whether you need trophies for a little league team or a national marketing campaign, we're the company you need to be dealing with. All orders are normally shipped within 72 hours!   SCREENPRINT & EMBROIDERY DIVISION   Our product line includes sportswear items such as t-shirts, golf shirts, caps, jerseys, sweats, jackets, and much more. We use national name brands such as Hanes, Fruit of the Loom, Russell Athletic, Outer Banks, Dunbrooke, Sportsmaster, Crystal Springs, Pickering, Hartwell, New Era, & Stedman. We also do enamel printing which includes products such as realty signs, campaign posters, banners, auto tags, decals, magnetic signs, and even frisbees.  We are very proud of our modern state of the art equipment. Embroidery and screenprinting is done in our facility, which means better service for our customers! Our printing equipment includes two eight color semi-automated t-shirt printers as well as several manual, automatic, and semi-automatic presses in each of our four separate screenprinting departments. The embroidery department has 3 computerized multi-head embroidery machines as well as other machines for patch making, banner production, and general sewing.  AD SPECIALTY PRODUCTS We represent thousands of other manufacturers of hundreds of thousands of items. Anything you could possibly ever think of using in the ad specialty field is at our fingertips. Some of the more common product lines are coffee cups, pen & pencil sets, key chains, notebooks, umbrellas, golf balls and accessories, calculators, clocks, and even ice scrapers and balloons. Art Services Our graphics department is at your disposal for professional and creative designs. Layout services include: color separations, logo design, cartoon drawings, and computer generated special effects and designs. Our Apple and PC graphic workstations are ready to be put to work creating art for your company. CORPORATE IDENTITY PROGRAMS We will also design and work with you to create a special flyer or a complete catalog for your organization. The product line and services will be customized to your particular needs. This may range from a simple one page flyer for a special event or occasion to an extensive full color catalog depending on your needs. This is our specialty and we have several national and regional programs that we service from our facility here in Snellville. FACTORY SHOWROOM & OUTLET STORE Our showroom contains displays of our most popular products and samples of our custom services. Recently, we have opened an outlet store here at our plant offering the public savings on sportswear and other recognition items. These products range from misprinted t-shirts and caps to first quality merchandise at substantial savings. Production overruns, discontinued product lines and samples are sold at cost which results in a great buy for the consumer. Our showroom is open from 9 to 5:00, Monday thru Friday EST.
